At Connect & Serve, we are shifting this model by bringing small nonprofits, minority-owned businesses, and local government agencies into the same network, creating a collaborative ecosystem that expands opportunities and amplifies change.

Connect & Serve defines collective impact as the unified commitment of diverse organizations, institutions, and individuals to a common agenda for addressing poverty and systemic inequities. Guided by the timeless wisdom of the African proverb, “It takes a village," this truth holds the key to lasting change—it is a movement of thought that sparks action, a Theory of Action that unites us in purpose and strength.
The Communities of Value and Empowerment Collective (COVE) is a living example of collective impact.
COVE envisions a path forward where community empowerment is built upon the foundational practices of involvement, development, empowerment and accountability.
Connect & Serve, as the quarterback or "backbone team" has leveraged existing partnerships and long-standing relationships with like-minded organizations, schools, and government agencies to build a strong network of support to support our common goal: to break cycles of poverty.
Together, with a total of 20+ organizations, agencies, schools and individuals, we aim to bridge resources, foster resilience, and ignite transformation. These partnerships amplify the impact of our programs and ensure that no one is left behind. Together, we are stronger.
